Location: Red Deer, Alberta

Review Tender documents, specifications and drawings to determine the Scope of Work/Tender requirements

Perform Quantity Take-Offs

Draft subcontractor/supplier RFQ (Request For Quote/Proposal) for 3^rd party pricing.

Compile clarifications/exceptions relating to the Tender.

Prepare budget estimates

Completion of Tender/Bid forms as required

Develop estimating skills by working closely with the Chief Estimator

Assist in developing schedules/pricing for Tenders

Diploma in Civil/Construction Engineering Technology

3 years experience in the civil construction industry

Knowledge of civil construction and earthmoving practices

Knowledge of oilfield, industrial plantsite construction an asset

Knowledge in common estimating practices

Able to maintain good communication with coworkers and act as member of a team to complete work efficiently

Able to read/interpret construction drawings/specifications and perform calculations as required.
